Abstract

The author presents an analysis of contemporary psychological and educational research on the feasibility and effectiveness of the latest computer technology implementation in the educational process and special schools, emphasizing the corrective capacity of many educational software caused by the presence of different difficulty levels and differentiated aid system. The author also emphasizes the need for a computer as a new learning tool, determining the place and role in the various classes and individual lessons at all stages of schooling for children with disabilities, the disclosure of a correctional orientation classes in the computer lab. The article determined that the use of information and communication technologies in speech therapy work helps to solve the problem at the level of the student: carry out a differentiated approach to learning; boost the involuntary attention; generate positive motivation for correctional and educational activities; at the level of teacher-speech therapist: optimize, individualize the learning process; create a reliable system for monitoring of correctional work; raise educational qualifications and professional skills of the teacher, a speech therapist; the use of information and communication technology enhances the work with visual material helps to successfully reach this goal and solve problems involving speech therapy sessions.
