Abstract

Vovchenko M.B. Adaptation of foreign 1st and 2nd year students in Zaporizhzhya state medical university. The paper presents data on the adaptation of foreign students in Zaporizhzhya State Medical University. Foreign students who come to Ukraine have many difficulties of both physiological (habituation to the climate, food), and socio-psychological character (adaptation to living conditions, norms of behavior and requirements of educational activity). The most difficult area of adaptation is learning activity, because of the need of achieving a high level of knowledge of Ukrainian language, sufficient to obtain significant professional knowledge and skills.
