Chelpanov, created at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, one of the first scientific schools of psychology, laid the foundation as experimental ( empirical ) and theoretical psychology in Russia. In order to more fully evaluate its role in the national psychology , to be analyzed as a way of its formation as a scientist, and to compare his views in positions of other scholars. More precisely just such an analysis is possible within a historical-genetic paradigm.
