Behavioral threat occurs when certain behavior becomes dangerous to the individual, to other people, or to the entire organization, and the person is unable to stop or control it, because is dependent. Such threats become increasingly common, therefore behavioral risk management is very important, in the form of prevention, diagnosis and therapeutic (“organizational therapy”). The special type of behavioral disorders in the workplace is workaholism. The author proposes a division of workaholism on effective and ineffective, which, in turn, author divides on workaholism missed, neurotic and fake. Each type of workaholism is, however, disadvantageous for the organization, because even with effective work leads sooner or later to burnout and employee’s illness, and therefore the loss of valuable human capital. That is why it is very important to change workaholism into genuine and healthy passion of work. The author proposes two criteria for distinguishing the passion of workaholism: coefficient of performance and hedonistic factor. In conclusion, the author presents a model of behavioral risk management in the enterprise in the case of workaholism.
