Abstract

The article is an attempt to historical-psychological reconstruction of psychological views on the understanding of the essence of man in the XIX century in Ukraine. Filed separate opinions into components of human nature, and human features of his condition. Represents leading exist for a specified period of time reflections thinkers of the body, soul and spirit. It expands understanding of the origins of the human soul that period. There idea, which took place in the ХІХ century to be on the importance of man’s knowledge of himself and of the knowledge of others as necessary. The article recognizes the view of the importance and necessity of self-knowledge, God, other people and animals. Regarding knowledge of nature says that although people usually come to the knowledge of animal cognition itself, but the way back in this area easier, much easier to learn from small to large. Moses is given the interpretation of the creation of man. According to his ideas formed the body of the earth, because it is returned to, and the spirit is the origin of the above, because it is immortal, and this world is perishable and mortal.
