ПСИХОКОРЕКЦІЙНА ПРОГРАМА ПІДВИЩЕННЯ САМОПОВАГИ В ЮНАЦЬКОМУ ВІЦІ

Abstract

The article deals with peculiarities of self-esteem in correlation with self-efficacy in adolescence. The works of A.Bandura, S.Pantileev, I.Bekh, I.Kon etc. served as theoretical background of the research. We used the self-attitude research methodology, designed by S.Pantileev, to determine the level of students’ self-esteem. The research showed statistically significant decrease of its high level in sophomores, compared to freshmen. At the same time the amount of students with low and middle levels of self-esteem increased. The psychocorrectional program, intended to raise students’ self-esteem, lasts 9 hours and uses such methods and techniques as discussions, projective drawing, role play, work in small groups, active listening, cognitive restructuring, visualization, storytelling, positive and negative reinforcement, behavior modeling and others. The author describes several group activities of the program and provides detailed analysis of their impact on self-esteem development in adolescence.
