Abstract

The article attempts to look at the nature of family relations through the prism of personal problems caused Oedipus situation and its destructive consequences, especially mortido trends of psyche to «psychological impotence» and «psychological death». Attention is paid to the basic psyche protections and their main trends «from weakness to strength», which masked infantile needs of person, distorting reality. The article emphasizes that the protective system determines individual behavior that depends on past experience and aims to «avoid failure» by certain degradation of communication. The fact gives rise to barriers to communication. The choice of libido object replacement is associated with child’s infantile desires that were forbidden but define family relationships in actual situations. The correlation of psychological death phenomenon with a protective system of person is considered as well as capabilities to research it within the modern psychodynamic theory.
