МЕТОДОЛОГИЯ Г.И.ЧЕЛПАНОВА: СОВРЕМЕННАЯ РЕАЛИЗАЦИЯ

Abstract

One of the main points of Chalpanov’s views is his conviction that science (if it is real science) cannot do without conceptualizing its ideas and becoming aware of its core truths upon which everything else is based. This thought has become the foundation of this research, for we have been able to demonstrate that it is due to the basic ideas of Russian Methodology that we could develop a totally new approach to exploring creativity and giftedness and thus overcome the limitations of the previously existing “atom” theories. One of Chalpanov’s recommendations was to study any phenomenon in its wholeness. We have kept it in mind and it has enabled us to look at the phenomenon that we have been researching from the holistic point of view, while getting a clear idea about what its “unit of analysis” should be. It is nothing else but one’s ability to take initiative in the development of one’s own activity. Based on our definition of creativity and giftedness, a new psycho diagnostic method, called “Creative Field”, has come into being. It meets the principles that satisfy Calpanov’s requirements for a fruitful scientific experiment: repeated research and making an experiment individual in its essence.
