ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ПСИХОЛОГІЧНОГО СУПРОВОДУ РОЗВИТКУ ЕКОЛОГІЧНОЇ СВІДОМОСТІ МОЛОДШИХ ШКОЛЯРІВ

Abstract

The article has the aim to reveal ways and tools of psychological accompaniment of formation and development of ecological consciousness of junior schoolchildren. The study gives definition of “psychological support” and analyzes its features concerning the development of ecological consciousness of the children of junior school age. The author determines that the psychological support of ecological consciousness is effective only if three components are developed. These components are cognitive, affective and behavioral. The goal of cognitive component is expanding, deepening and systematization environmental knowledge. Affective element develops the ability to see the beauty of nature and admire it. Aim of behavioral component consists in formation skills of eco-target behavior and awareness of responsibility for the environment. It activates children to protect and improve the environment. The article analyses the role of adult as well as methods, ways and tools of developing ecological consciousness of junior schoolchildren. The study notes that the main task of psychological support of environmental awareness of children is the formation and development adequate system of ecological concepts. Psychological support helps children to understand human and nature unity and develop the idea of nature as a source of life, beauty and moral welfare. The author argues that all ways and tools of psychological support of ecological consciousness have to provide in complex.
