Abstract

The article notes the need for rational use of information technologies in educational process of modern institutions in order to increase the motivation of students to learn, enhance their cognitive activity and the intensification of knowledge acquisition. Is grounded the necessity of taking into account the main types of human memory in order to use in the educational process physiologically and psychologically correct methods and forms of presentation of information that will contribute to the efficient formation of professional competences of students. Are investigated the possibilities for the improvement of the principles of forming up multimedia presentations, taking into account the main mechanisms of perception and memorizing information by the student in the learning process. Specific attention is drawn to the effects of rationalization and systematization of the process of maintaining information in human memory. Are given recommendations concerning the harmonious presentation of various kinds of information (photos, drawings, diagrams, text, tables) in a multimedia presentation to promote a better storage of information in long-term memory of the student.
