This article reveals one of the most important directions in the field of modern psychology studies - psychology of students’ personality in the informational space. The new field of psychological research is presented theoretically in this article. The authors reveal the characteristics of informational and psychological space, the conditions of self-expression and self-identity in this space. The article also presents a generalized analysis of the empirical results of the study of students’ modern preferences in the selection of the source and methods of obtaining information, purposes of informational technologies using, the psychological strategies of network behavior, students’ learning style according to the nature of perception, students’ motivation, influenced by information and computer technologies, analysis of their attitudes to the Internet, the variability of behavior strategies in virtual space, individually-typological characteristics of the students’ personality in the network activity. The features of interrelation of psychological characteristics of students’ personality in the conditions of Internet interactions are indicated.
