The article is devoted to the problem of reconstruction of theories of personality generated in the domestic metaphysical tradition in psychology. According to our model of periodization, the development process of this tradition passed three stages: 1) stage of strengthening; 2) maturity stage; 3) stage of integration in other related traditions (indepth-psychological, phenomenological, existential etc.). The maturity stage includes, beside others, the personalistic metaphysics and “the metaphysics of all-unity”, which deals with identity as a manifestation of the unified soul of the world (Sophia). Views of younger generation of theorists of «metaphysics of all-unity» (by S.N. Bulgakov, S.L. Frank, P.A. Florensky, L.P. Karsavin, etc.) on development of personality are considered. The understanding of development of personality makes one of the major components of theories of personality which is necessary to consider while its reconstruction. Personal development theorists of the younger generation of the domestic tradition of “all-unity metaphysics” is conceived as a purposeful process. Its goal is transcendent to everyday life.
