Abstract

In the article the author considers and analyzes the main stages in the reformation of the educational management system in the UK. Identifies the priority trends of management reform of the educational system of the country. The author provides a brief characteristic of the most radical reforms in the field of English education-80s of the twentieth century, sets out the main objectives of this process, which can be useful during the reform of the system of national education. In this context, it is extremely important to explore ways of reforming the management of the educational system on the principles of globalization and the democratization of various countries of the world. Of great interest is the experience of governance reform in secondary education leading developed countries of the world.
