СТАНОВЛЕННЯ АГРАРНОЇ ОСВІТИ ВЕЛИКОЇ БРИТАНІЇ

Abstract

The aim of the article is to analyze the development of agricultural education based on the state papers in agricultural education. As a result of the research the official reports by JenkinsF.G.S, SirRichard Paget, Donald Mackay (11thLordReay) and others and their recommendations are analyzed. The reports pointed that the state would have to make more effective administrative arrangements for organization of agricultural educational facilities. Important Acts of Parliament which reorganized local and nation administration and provided funds on the organization of a nationwide system of institutions for agricultural education are touched upon. The special mention is given to the courses provided by different establishments such as local schools, Winter Schools, Farm Institutes, Agricultural Colleges, and Universities with Agricultural Departments etc. The facts of foundation of Provincial Agricultural Advisory Centers and appointment of Agricultural Organizers and Assistants to deal with all matters concerning agriculture and agricultural education are underlined. In the conclusion we stated the fact that there was a tendency to reorganization of agricultural education as an integrated system. The thing of great importance is the fact that coordination at all levels was necessary. The experience is useful for Ukrainian agricultural education.
