ФУНКЦІЇ ПРОФЕСІЙНОЇ КОМПЕТЕНТНОСТІ ЮРИСТА

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of structural components of the professional competence of specialists in different areas of professional activity (the professional competence was analyzed in the functional paradigm of psychological approaches): aim approach and motivational approach (motivation, instructions, values, personal orientation of the subject); content approach (professional knowledge); subjectpractical approach (professional qualities and skills); personal approach (professionally important personal qualities and experience of the man); reflexive approach (self-esteem, professional self-awareness). It was proposed the author’s definition of the professional competence of a lawyer, the structure of his/her professional competence was determined. It was shown that the professional competence of a future lawyer is a personal individual quality that was consisted of structural components, which in turn contained components that, taken together, defined a psychological category that somehow determined the development of the professional competence of a lawyer. It was indicated that the lawyer’s professional competence was consisted of the following components: 1) a motivational target component; 2) a cognitive component; 3) a social component; 4) axiological component; 5) autopsychological component. The author of the article describes and analyzes the basic functions of the professional competence of a lawyer. These functions are: a cognitive function, a regulatory one, a reflective function, a monitoring one and the function of evaluation, also the informational function. The additional functions of the professional competence of a lawyer were proposed. Their content was shown. These are: a predictive function, a cross-cultural one, a humanistic function, a project one.
