ПРОФЕСІЙНИЙ ІМІДЖ СУЧАСНОГО ВЧИТЕЛЯ ПОЧАТКОВИХ КЛАСІВ

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of the professional image of modern primary school teacher. The image is considered as a feature of high professional culture and personal quality of a teacher. Modern system of education has to correspond to the high requirements of society to the personality of a teacher. However, the teachers perform an important social mission – teach, educate, form personality. The modern teacher actively participates in the political, social and public life of a country, creatively works in the fields of education, science, culture, art, that proves their persistence and responsibility for future of society and country in general. It is worth noting that future of our society will depend on present results of work of our teachers. Based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogic research, the article discloses the essence of the concept “professional image of modern primary school teacher”, and determines its key characteristics. The pupils of primary school are striving for following, and they need to have an excellent example in their front. Peculiar attention is paid to the issue of appearance of modern teacher at the general educational establishment of Ukraine. Nice appearance of a teacher shall first attract attention of the pupils, then will wake up desire to learn the discipline, and then the teacher shall become an example for schoolchildren.
