ЗМІШАНЕ Й ПЕРЕВЕРНЕНЕ НАВЧАННЯ ЯК ІННОВАЦІЙНІ ПІДХОДИ ДО ВИКЛАДАННЯ ІНОЗЕМНИХ МОВ У ВНЗ

Abstract

Blended (or hybrid) and flipped learning methods are widely used nowadays as the innovative forms of organizing the learning process. Applying blended learning approach means that traditional classroom setting is combined with online tasks or using BYOD method. Flipped classroom, in its turn, is a pedagogical approach which means that the traditional classroom-based learning is inverted, so that students get the learning material before class, with lesson time then being used for discussions and problem-solving activities facilitated by the teacher. They are considered to be effective in the foreign languages teaching, for specific purposes in particular. Teachers from all over the world mention such advantages of these methods as the growing range of possibilities for the students’ independent work, time-management optimization (as far as the classroom lessons are concerned) and using digital technologies as one of the ways of raising the students’ motivation.
