COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF FUTURE PROFESSIONALS IN SOCIAL WORK THROUGH LEARNING ENGLISH

Abstract

The question of communicative competence as one of the basic characteristics of the professional competence of the future specialist of social work is analyzed and summarized. The emphasis is put on the growing need of the knowledge of the English-language for social workers. The importance of studying English for Specific Purposes in the field of professional training of social workers is emphasized. The place and role of the English language training in the formation of the basic principles of a social worker professional orientation is described. The practical approaches to the formation of the communicative competence of future social worker professionals through the prism of the English language study are considered.
