Abstract

The article deals with the socio-psychological approach to dance, which places emphasis on its dialogical, communicative nature, and considers it a special form of manifestation of relationships and relations with the world, manifestation of the attitude towards another person, to himself. Dance, as a spontaneous transformation of the inner world in motion, during which creative potential awakens as a potential for changing the old way of life, helps a person to overcome dependence on attitudes, assessments, expectations of others, and gradually move on to independence, independence, individuality and creativity, more conscious perception of one’s own experience of social relations.
